Andrew is a third-year Theater and French double major who specializes in all areas of live performance. Between lighting, sound, and scenic, he's designed 5 theater shows at Oberlin, most O!Circus shows for the past 2 years, and lately, Solarity. He also mixes shows at the Cat in the Cream for Concert Sound, among others. When he's not working, you can find him yapping in beautiful places across campus.
Emily is a mostly undecided second year with a focus on physics, theater, and neuroscience. After the accident she became a lighting technician and has stuck with it for 8 years. Her favorite production to light was her highschool's rendition of Mamma Mia. She is also a Technical Director for Needham Student Theater and the treasurer for Oberlin Student Theater Association. When she isn't doing lighting Emily can be found playing banjo, writing music, pondering the orb, and desperately trying to catch up on Critical Role.
Livia is a 3rd year stage manager and theater technician from Brooklyn, NY. She has managed, designed, and worked on numerous productions at Oberlin, with OMTA, the theater department, and conservatory operas. Livia also works as a lighting TA in the theater electrics shop.
Ari is a fourth-year creative writing major with minors in theater, history and math. He only became involved in theater two years ago, but in that time he's designed and worked on numerous OMTA/OSTA shows and will be designing both Lab Series and MainStage productions this coming year. In addition to being Lighting Coordinator for SLSA, Ari is OMTA/OSTA Electrics Tech Co and he works in the Theater Department Electrics Shop. When he's not in a theater or stumbling through Oberlin organization acronyms he's co-directing OSteel, Oberlin's steel pan band. Anyway, look at him go.
I've been working in sound since I was 12, and I love every second of it! I am a theater major with an interest in sound, and working in productions is some of the most fun I've had on this campus. I'm so excited to join SLSA this year and I'm looking forward to all the work I will be doing!
Lorelei is a second year theater major with an integrative concentration in arts management. They are primarily a stage manager, but enjoy working on all technical aspects of performance. In addition to running SLSA’s social media and website, they work in the Theater Department paint shop, and are a shop head for OMTA/OSTA.
SLSA would not be able to operate effectively without the help and support of Oberlin faculty and staff members from all over campus.
