SLSA is improving theater and dance at oberlin

SLSA was created to improve the quality of theater and dance productions at Oberlin. We do this in two ways.

SLSA allows any production on campus to recruit from our pool of student technicians. Recruitment is the main purpose of our email list.

SLSA provides equipment and technical support/expertise/resources. We have slowly accumulated the technical equipment previously owned by other organizations so we can keep it in working order and update it when needed. Additionally, we use our budget to purchase new equipment based on what we see is needed by student productions. We work closely with the Concert Sound department, who is in charge of maintaining Wilder Main, to ensure the best quality of service from both organizations.
